General setup walkthroughs for the three most common controller adapters. Pick your device below. These are broad first-time guides, so always confirm details against the official app for your hardware and firmware version.
The Cronus Zen is a USB adapter that runs GPC scripts and manages controller output. First-time setup happens through the Cronus Zen Studio desktop app, which handles firmware, device configuration, and the GamePacks or scripts you load into memory slots.
Download the official Cronus Zen Studio app for your operating system from the manufacturer and install it. This is the only software you need to configure the device.
Plug the Zen into your computer using the top PROG USB port. On first launch, Cronus Zen Studio will prompt you to update to the latest firmware. Let it finish fully before continuing.
The Zen has multiple memory slots. In Cronus Zen Studio, open the Slots panel, add a compiled GPC script or GamePack to a slot, and program the device. You can cycle slots on the hardware later.
Console setups often need a matching wired controller connected to the Zen so the system stays authenticated. Follow the on screen wizard for your specific console family.
Once programmed, move the OUTPUT cable to your console or PC, connect your controller to the front port, and select the active slot with the hardware button.
XIM adapters, such as the XIM Matrix and XIM Apex, let you use a keyboard and mouse or other inputs on a console. Configuration is done wirelessly through the XIM Manager phone app over Bluetooth, where you build and tune per game profiles.
Download the official XIM Manager app for your device from the app store. This app pairs with the adapter over Bluetooth and holds all of your settings.
Open XIM Manager, enable Bluetooth, and pair with the adapter. Once linked, the app shows a live dashboard for the connected device.
Create or import a configuration for the specific game you are playing. Profiles carry sensitivity, key mapping, and response settings tuned for that title.
Many profiles expect a specific in game look sensitivity so the mapping feels correct. Set the in game value the profile recommends, then fine tune inside XIM Manager.
Adjust sensitivity, smoothing, and key bindings while playing, then save the profile. You can keep multiple profiles and switch between them in the app.
The Titan Two is a scripting and crossover adapter configured through the Gtuner IV desktop software. It supports GPC scripts, input translation between controller types, and a large community library of scripts and GamePacks.
Download and install the official Gtuner IV software for your operating system. This is the hub for firmware, scripts, and device memory slots.
Plug the Titan Two into your PC using the PROG USB port. Gtuner IV will detect it and offer a firmware update. Apply the update before configuring anything.
Use the Gtuner IV programmer tab to compile a GPC script or add a GamePack, then assign it to one of the memory slots and program the device.
For console play, connect a matching wired controller to the Titan Two so it stays authenticated. Follow the wizard for your console family.
Move the OUTPUT cable to your console or PC, connect your input devices, and use the hardware or Gtuner IV to select the active slot.
These guides cover general setup only. Always follow the official app and documentation for your exact device model and firmware version, and use adapters in line with the terms of service of the games and platforms you play.
